Kilo Marine Electronics Ltd is authorised to carry out Safety Radio Surveys on behalf of the UK Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) and the Classification Societies.
Our experienced Radio Surveyors operate around the UK, providing a nationwide Radio Survey service. They are trained and equipped with the latest test equipment to carry out Radio Surveys and Inspections on GMDSS installations for all categories of vessels and equipment onboard fishing vessels, commercial yachts, cargo vessels, ferries and passenger ships.
For Radio Surveys overseas we are happy to organise the attendance of a local Classification Society approved radio company. Should any service or repairs be necessary we can also arrange for follow up service calls to repair any problems. Kilo Marine Electronics Ltd have built up reliable working relationships with many overseas radio companies around the world covering most of the major ports and equipment manufacturers.
From our workshop in Redhill, Southeast England we have local access to all ports on the River Thames in London, Kent and Essex as well as being conveniently located only 1.5 hours away from Dover and Southampton. For overseas attendance we are located close to London Heathrow and Gatwick international airports.
Kilo Marine Electronics Ltd are ISO 9001:2008 accredited and able to provide radio surveys for Lloyd's Register, Bureau Veritas, ABS, RINA, Det Norske Veritas, Germanischer Lloyd, ClassNK and UK MCA.
